Bastide du Clos Bonnet
A long table under the plane trees, twelve hectares of garden, and a house that holds a wedding of a hundred — then sleeps the closest sixteen.
The garden was made for gathering. A hundred can sit to dinner under the planes, with the lit facade behind and the allée running off into the dark. Drinks happen by the fountain, dancing on the gravel terrace, the last of it around the pool.
Smaller days suit the house just as well — a christening lunch, a birthday weekend, two families meeting for the first time over a long table.
For a wedding the house is yours for the weekend — Friday to Sunday — with the wedding party staying in the eight bedrooms and the grounds given over to the day. We keep a short list of the cooks, florists and people we trust nearby, and you are welcome to bring your own.
We don't run a package. Tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly whether the house can give it to you.
Write with the date you have in mind, the number you expect, and a line about the kind of day it is. We'll answer by hand.
